GardenSharing

sharing a Barcelona Urban garden

Introduction

It continues to feel magical to me that after planting a seed in dirt you can somehow be rewarded with a tomato or a sunflower or a pumpkin some days later. I have gardened in acres of farmland, small windowsills, and now, on the rooftop of my small apartment in the geographic center of Barcelona, in a lovely, too-hip neighborhood called Gràcia, where a tiny corner of green can feel like paradise. The problems in an urban garden in a Mediterranean climate have been a new challenge for me. On this Aixeta page, I'll share not only what I've learned, but for subscribers, I'll share my seeds, plants, and gardening events.
